McKinney/Mickells Wedding

Rita and I attended the wedding as guests.  After the ceremony, I went to the car, got my

camera and took these photos during the reception.  Some of these photos have a slight amount of fuziness or blur.  The majority were taken with a 200mm telephoto lens, wide open @ f2.8, ISO 1600 speed, in an attempt to get shutter times that  were fast enough to hand-hold the lens.  Since Mike Stout was the wedding photographer, I wanted to avoid using my flash and distracting people from his photo session.  Low light photography is always a challenge, but it allows me to catch some casual moments, and that's what I was really after in these shots. 

These photos have been reduced to about 40% of their original size, to speed the website,

and reduce bandwidth.  They should still make fine 4x6 prints if you wish to download them. 

The family has been given CDs with the full-sized prints.
